【 summary description 】

The 17th (2024) International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition was successfully held in Shanghai. BatteroTech (BTL) was bustling with activity in the new products display area, attracting a constant stream of visitors for observation and discussion.

At the exhibition, BTL showcased their classic products- the 72Ah, 280Ah, and 314Ah energy storage cells, introduced new products for C&I and grid energy storage applications. These new products include the 125kW/262kWh and the 20-foot 5.02MWh container energy storage system.

In August 2023, BTL successfully connected a 7.2MWh energy storage station built in the Jiashan Economic Development Zone to the grid. This system fully utilized Zhejiang Province's "time-of-use electricity pricing" policy, achieving an annual electricity generation of 4.5 million kWh, reducing the electricity costs for the factory, and demonstrating significant economic benefits.

As competition in the commercial and industrial energy storage market intensifies, to address multiple application scenarios in domestic and international markets such as peak shaving and valley filling, grid-connected, off-grid, microgrid, and virtual power plants, BTL has independently developed and launched a new generation of integrated commercial and industrial energy storage cabinets (BTL Liquid Cooling-100kW/215kWh, 100kW/232kWh, 125kW/262kWh in three configurations). These cabinets are smaller in size and offer higher returns, promising to become leaders in the industry.

The 20-foot 5.02MWh container energy storage system product, making its debut at this exhibition, stood out among many energy storage solutions with its superior performance and innovative design. Using the latest 314Ah cells, it can store more energy within the same volume, enhancing the product's compactness and portability, offering customers a more efficient energy utilization solution.

The system design has a maximum lifespan of 20 years, extending the customer’s profit period and increasing the stability of returns. In terms of energy efficiency, the 20-foot 5.02MWh container energy storage system also performs excellently. Its DC system side energy efficiency can reach up to 95%, meaning the product can output more energy during operation, reducing energy loss and waste. This efficient energy utilization not only lowers operating costs for customers but also aligns with the current societal pursuit of green, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly practices.
